rights of way training and consultancy

About Rowtac

Rowtac Ltd provides training and consultancy in public rights of way and countryside access in England and Wales. It is run by John Trevelyan, co-author of the "Blue Book" (Rights of Way: a guide to law and practice), one of the leading text books on the subject, and now in its fourth edition (see the "blue book" page for more details).

Rowtac is not currently running any training courses of its own, but is always willing to discuss providing individual training courses for clients. Further details are on the training page.

Our consultancy work is mainly on issues around the recording of public rights of way on definitive maps, and related modification orders and changes made to rights of way by public path orders. For further details please see our consultancy page.

If you are interested in finding out more about the Blue Book, or if you've got a copy of the fourth edition and want to know how to keep it up to date, go to our Blue Book page.
